Wired-Wireless Hierarchical Sensor Network using Zero power Sensor Node

Abstract The wireless sensor network, WSN, is a promising technology to make our social life better. However, the maintenance of battery attached each node avoids WSN widely be used. zero standby-power (ZSSN) extends by eliminating standby power, but they impose high cost and burdens because has its own module. This paper proposes wired-wireless hierarchical network consisting small group ZPSNs (Zero power node) with large capacitor as supply that are wired together, parent module an energy harvester. proposed can suppress number harvesters modules groups. There no batteries replaced capacitors. That is, reduce caused which there battery, only experimental result shows ZPSN keep enough voltage 48 days on operate in active mode correctly.
